It’s hard to pinpoint the music of G-Funk to a particular genre. With Goa-like synths, electro like bass lines and a tempo that sits just below the normal spectrum of progressive trance, the tracks on “Electrick Groove” sit in a class of their own whilst maintaining a universal nature that unites dance floors. Hints of subtle cheese are thrown into the mix but in a way that is not only unpredictable, but addictive. If you like clean synths and percussion and high energy that manages to stay under 140 BPM, than this is for you. But then again, this is for most people who like good electronic music.
